Full Text

BERLIN, July 26.

By an Estafette arrived this day from the Court of Russia we hear that his Swedish Majesty had hardly reached Finland when the fortress of Nyschlot surrendered to his arms, and the whole garrison were made prisoners of war. Since this event, his Majesty has laid siege to Fredericksham; and such is the general consternation at Petersburg, that many of the principal inhabitants are preparing to set off for Moscow.

The port of Cronstadt is certainly blocked up by the Swedish fleet, and every arrangement made to accelerate the departure of the Empress from Petersburg.
