Convention.—In our last, we stated that Samuel Sprigg of Ohio county was elected to the Convention. We were mistaken. Mr. Eugenius M. Wilson of Monongalia is elected and not Mr. Sprigg. The Delegation from that District, is Messrs. Doddridge and Campbell of Brooke, and Messrs. Morgan and Wilson of Monongalia.
In the Kanawha District, Edwin S. Duncan of Harrison, Judge Lewis Summers of Kanawha, Jno. Lailey of Cabell, and Adam Lee of Randolph, are said in the Wheeling Statesman to be returned.
In the Abingdon District, Messrs. E. Campbell and Byas of Washington, George Taywell, and McMillan of Lee, are supposed to have succeeded. Returns from the two last Districts, not all in. With those exceptions, the whole State is heard from.
