Full Text

Many persons have complained long and hard about the relative inactivity of the local chapter of the Red Cross on St. Croix. Many more persons have admitted that they didn't even know a Red Cross existed. Steps to correct this lamentable state of affairs have been undertaken right now and the results will soon make themselves known to the Community.

Not only is the Red Cross going to expand and intensify their present programs, but there are plans, and first steps taken, to initiate a whole series of new programs that will be of service and benefit to the entire Community. Not only will people have to take back their criticisms of inactivity, but those persons who didn't know the Red Cross existed may find themselves wishing they didn't hear quite so much about it.

In other words, this Chapter plans to become so active with operations for the ensuing year that not one person will be able to admit he isn't aware of the Red Cross, not only by the noise it makes, but more important, by the service it is rendering to everyone on St. Croix.

The various phases of this reactivation are going to be discussed in detail—so sit up and take notice, St. Croix—the RED CROSS is here.
