Virginia Jury Fails To Indict Officer

LEESBURG, Va. (ANP) A policeman charged with an accident that resulted in the death of a Negro, was freed last week when a Loudoun County Grand Jury failed to indict him on an involuntary manslaughter charge.

Purcellville policeman W. Jackson Garrison allegedly was connected with the death of Linden McWashington last May 15.

Garrison later was suspended for failing to report the accident to the town council.
