BISBEE, Jan. 26—In one of the largest ranch transactions in recent years in Cochise county, the ranch of the late Timothy P. Blevin, 12 miles north of Douglas, was sold to Walter Swaggert, Arizona pioneer, according to a deed filed in the County Recorder's office yesterday.
Approximate consideration for the ranch, totaling 15,341 acres, was indicated to be about $75,000. Included in the sale price was about $11,000 for cattle on the ranch.
The Bank of Douglas as executor for the estate of Blevins handled the transaction.
The ranch includes land owned by Blevin, forest leases, patented lands and 120 acres of mining patent used for grazing land now.
Total acreage of leased lands is approximately 8,000 acres.
