Full Text

We find from the very favorable reports of the Board of Health for the last 3 days, (says the New-York Daily Advertiser of September 30) that some persons already begin to talk of returning to their stores and houses. We sincerely hope that the recommendations of the board of health, respecting intercourse with the district where the fever commenced, may be strictly regarded. Within a very short time, under the blessings of Providence, there will be no occasion for alarm. A few days can make but little difference in business concerns, and men of discretion and candor will certainly consent to suspend their intercourse with that district, until it is considered safe by the public authorities.
