IRISH REPUBLICAN Association.

The usual weekly meeting of this flourishing organization was held on Thursday evening, 5th instant, at Wills' German Hall, Seventh street. The president, P. H. Donegan, esq., in the chair, and Mr. W. B. Long, acting as secretary in the absence of the regular secretary.

The attendance was large, and the meeting very interesting and enthusiastic.

Messrs. Patrick Cullinane, John Sullivan, John Hourihan, and Daniel Wholey were admitted to membership.

After the transaction of the usual routine business Mr. W. Wilson made a few spirited remarks, in the course of which he urged members to be true to their party.

The president in a closing address said that the great Republican party, which had triumphed under the motto of "Equality of all men's rights under the law," was the party under whose banner all Irishmen should rally. Irishmen should think for themselves and act for themselves. Among the sons of Erin in this city are to be found as well educated and as smart men as among any other class.

At the close of the president's address the meeting adjourned to meet at the same place on Thursday evening the 12th instant.
