The Morris Brown College Players will present a comedy-drama of three acts entitled "Big Brother" tonight at 8 o'clock in the college chapel.
The plot is centered around the efforts of a sweet, frail, soft spoken mother, Mrs. Crewe, to entice her two sons to marry girls of her own pick. This role is played by Miss Mary Henderson, talented member of the senior class. John Crewe, one of her sons, a quiet, hard-working and reliable young fellow of twenty-six, is played by William (Cab) Greene, popular athlete who is a member of the class of 1938. James William, scholarly leader of class activities, will take the role of Lyle Crewe, the handsome and lovable young son of twenty-four. His fiancee, Janet Laid, a charming girl of twenty-four, is played by Miss Elizabeth Twitty, popular member of the freshman class. Hortense Morton, a large, good natured, rollicking sort of a girl will be played by Miss Knaiive Walden, charming young sophomore. James Fleese, a veteran of foot-light activities, will enact the part of Mr. Morton, a dignified, pompous gentleman of strong opinions. Miss Alice Mehrens, a pretty girl of twenty-three, who loves Lyle Crewe, is played by Miss Esther Jones, industrious young member of the class of '37. Robert Williams, football star of the Wolverines, will act the role of Sidney Chalmers, a young Englishman of twenty. The play will be directed by Professor J. O. Slade, head of the Department of Social Science.
