ANOTHER DARING ROBBERY.

Last Thursday evening, a little after sunset, two genteel looking persons went into the Conestogo tavern in Market-street, and finding the bar keeper alone, called for a mug of beer. One of them handed M. Knorr a two dollar note to pay for the beer. He took his pocket book, and while in the act of making out the change, one of the fellows threw a handful of snuff into his face, while the other snatched his pocket book, containing several hundred dollars, and both decamped with the prize. Mr. Knorr followed them into the street crying Murder ; but owing to the effect of the snuff, he stumbled and fell upon the pavement. The villains made good their retreat.
