Boston, SUMMARY.
BY the ship Perseverance, Captain DeLANO, from Liverpool, we have received London papers to the 8th of May.

These papers are full of what their Editors and the Loyalists in England consider as the most glorious intelligence, which has distinguished the present war against France—Their soldiers are all heroes, and all equally successful in all their expeditions—The conquest of Martinico is viewed as a capital achievement,— and the reduction of Landrecy is pronounced a most decisive event—They already anticipate the destruction of the present government in France, and the re-establishment of monarchy and order— The Parliament have voted their approbation of a treaty subsidizing the King of Prussia at an expense of one million and eight hundred thousand pounds sterling, per ann. 400,000 of which is to be paid by the Dutch. Unfortunately however, they cannot wholly conceal the truth from the deluded people of that infatuated country.

It appears that at Menin, which the French captured, the Combined Powers lost nearly half the Garrison in its flight, and which consequently fell with all its stores into the hands of our republican friends.

CLAIRFAYT's defeat was a rout according to their own account; and according to that of the French Commissioner, RICHARD, a most compleat victory. The Austrians lost most of their standards, and 32 pieces of artillery—4000 killed and taken prisoners on the field, among which were several Officers of distinction—Gen. CLAIRFAYT was very dangerously wounded.

There is nothing said of famine in France; we may conclude therefore, that there is not even a scarcity there.
