The Wedgefield club girls held their July meeting on the 10th with thirteen members present and one absent. We had our meeting a few days before scheduled time as a few of our members were planning a visit and we wanted them to be at the meeting.
We discussed the pleasures we had on our camping trip and agreed that it was the best time we had ever had. We wish to thank our agent for making this trip possible.
Plans for a club party were made to be held with Ellene Chandler Friday afternoon, the 13th from 3 to 7 o'clock. Owing to a down pour of rain our plans were upset and the party was postponed until Monday when it was held at the home of Ethel Mellette. Everything went off very pleasantly with almost 100 per cent attendance. Games were played and refreshments consisting of lemonade and crackers served. Two visitors were present from Pinewood, and Bethel M. E. Miss Marion Mellette acted as chaperone.
