HAMPTON INSTITUTE, Va., -
At a recent commencement of Hampton Institute, the honors won by graduates were distributed to three grades. "Degree with Highest Honors," "Degree with High Honors," and "Degree with Honors."
The students winning these distinctions and receiving the Bachelor of Science degrees were as follows:
DEGREE WITH HIGHEST HONORS: Glenn Waddell Stevenson. Ashland, Ky., School of Education.
DEGREE WITH HIGH HONORS Eloise Rachel Cunningham, Washington, D. C., School of Business; Henry Harleston Fleming, Charleston. S. C., School of Music. Mrs. Agnes Davis Green Newport News, Va., School of Education; and Virginia Mae Lacy, Clarksburg, W. Va., School of Education.
DEGREE WITH HONORS: Eller Amy Basie, Chase City, Va., School of Education: Louise Alberta Boyer. Hampton, Va., School of Education; Earlene Brewer, Albany. Ga., School of Home Economics; Christian Ellen Fuller, Washington, D. C., School of Home Economics; Marian Adeleane Howard, Charlottesville, Va., School of Education;
Lillian Elizabeth Jackson, Annapolis, Md., School of Education: Harold William Powers, Westfield, Mass, Library School; and Nellie Eloise Wilder, Dayton, Ohio, School of Business.
