Full Text

Regiments Coming Home.

We see from our New York exchanges, that many of the Eastern regiments are returning home. All of them left for the seat of war three years ago one thousand and forty strong. They now return with numbers ranging from one hundred and fifty to two hundred and fifty, notwithstanding they have often been recruited while in the service.

We should recommend these fragments of regiments, on passing through Washington, to call at the Presidential mansion and call Old Abe to the door, and ask him if "any body has been hurt yet?"—Hamilton Times.
