They Try Hard to Live in Chillicothe Man's House.
Robins want to nest in the sun parlor of Frank Marzluff's home at Chillicothe, Ohio, so badly that they have picked holes through the window screens.
Marzluff has a home with a sun parlor on a hill west of the city. There are large windows on all three sides of the sun parlor. Inside the windows are many pots of ferns and other plants.
Robins like the parlor as a nesting place. For many years they have flown in at the window bearing bits of straw and string. Recently Marzluff placed screens in the windows and the persistent birds have picked holes in the screens.
