Double Check
By what we see in the papers and hear about, America will be about the only Nation without peace. Adenauer settled the life and death struggle for his people, he says. Looks like he opened up a new road. Got the Republicans praising him—at least it seems to me—now don't quote me on this.
Adenauer has a new angle on getting American dollars. England never tried this one. He's got the ear of the President and Secretary Dulles. Got them running after him. It's somethin' brewing somewhere. It ain't advice that he is awaiting this time.
Beginning to see why the President is so all-fired hot for a full Republican House . . . and I saw 'Ike' on TV. Boy, he's slipped back in that role. He's going to stump four States and cover the Nation with praise of his Administration. The applause is coming from the Republicans up front. Democrats are saving up for the big battle of the future. Plenty of campaign fodder and no scarcity of talent this time. We got oodles of talent—America is a great country. It has stood so much. Politics is our best tonic for any ailing we have . . . it keeps us democratically up to par. So get out and VOTE
Thanks for reading.
