SOMETHING DOING IN RAILROAD CIRCLES

Looks As If C. & N. W. And C. B. & Q. Might Race

The Burlington railroad has paid for the right of way through the Indian reservation at the south end of the Big Horn Canyon, which looks as if that road would build up through the canyon right away.

This has waked up the Northwestern, and that road has begun proceedings to condemn a townsite at Wahnba, just this side of Shoshoni. This means that the Northwestern is not going to let the Burlington beat it to the coal fields in the Green River valley. It also looks as if the Northwestern was entering over the Union Pass, as Wahnba is the most starting point for that direction.

Hill and Hann will each use every effort to get the business, and a lot of railroad building will result.
