Yesterday afternoon as some persons were walking on the bank a little north of town, they espied a corpse floating in Hudson's current: means were soon found to fetch it ashore, and, on examining the papers found in a garment belonging thereto, it proved to be the body of Mr. Samuel Goodrich, jun. one of the unfortunate men who were drowned, four weeks since, in attempting to cross the ferry at Half Moon-Point. Lenox (Massachusetts) is the place of his nativity, but for several years past he has been a respectable inhabitant of Ballstown.
