DRIVER ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY IN TRUCK CRASH

Carl R. Stroner, Williston foods truck driver, suffered bruises and shock Friday morning when the truck he was driving rolled off Highway 2 about 10 miles east of Wolf Point.

The accident occurred on the stretch of highway now under construction. According to the Highway Patrol officer who investigated, the truck got out on the soft shoulder too far and tipped over, landing on top, with four wheels turned up.

While considerable damage was done to truck and contents, it was still in running condition and after being righted, was driven into Wolf Point for repairs.
