Seattle Post 6599

The advent of fall will see the return to Seattle of many of the charter members of the Post and increased activity reports Comrade J. S. Pearce, Publicity Officer for the Oriental Post.

An Informal Dance is slated for the 19th of October at Washington Hall, 14th and E. Fir at 8:00 p. m.

The Post meets the first and third Friday and second and fourth Thursday at the Masonic Temple, Room 109, 316 Maynard Ave.

The World War II vets continue to outnumber the oldsters which while it may seem the natural thing considering their preponderance on the roster, still the meetings should be attended by more oldtimers. Adjutant Bishop reports that since last October 1 there has not been a meeting without a class of recruits for obligation. According to the latest state standings 1435 is just outside of the select first ten, ranking eleventh
