ARLINGTON, Va. (UP) — A nation that has always admired good losers paid final tribute today to Gen. Jonathan M. Wainwright, hero of the most humiliating U. S. military defeat of World War II. The gaunt cavalryman, who earned the Congressional Medal of Honor for his dauntless defense of Bataan and Corregidor, was to be buried with full military honors in Arlington National Cemetery at 11 a.m. e.d.t.
