Full Text

The London Times in an article on the late movements of Prince Napoleon, (the son of Jerome, and in personal appearance the most like his great uncle of any of the Bonaparte family,) says that "his part in the new order of things depends on the chances of the Emperor's recovery. Should the Emperor live, a liberal Ministry, with Prince Napoleon at its head, would be an experiment worth trying. If the Emperor's absence from the Cabinet is to be indefinitely prolonged, it is difficult to say who could dispute the lieutenancy of the Empire with Prince Napoleon. The present crisis in France cannot be without grave consequences, and the Prince has placed himself in so a position in which it would be no good policy for the Emperor to dispense with or overlook him."
