BOSTON. July 17.

By the Roebuck packet, arrived at New-York, we learn, that Sir Joseph York is again appointed Ambassador to the States General of Holland, the terms of pacification being finally adjusted. -- The Duke d'Almadover is appointed Ambassador from Spain to the Court of London. -- The petition of the American Refugees for Compensation, is not yet gone to Parliament, but it will be done very soon: The present Ministry have behaved to them in a much more friendly and liberal manner than the last; and they have promised countenance and support, when their case comes before the Grand Council of the Nation. The good people of England are strongly in their favour.
