" Our employ here is working at the fort : We have had the following regular Regiments. I give them as they arrived here from Canada, viz. the 40th Regiment. 42d or Royal Highlanders, two Battalions, 15th, 35th, 28th, 48th, 43d, 3d battalion of Royal Americans expected, but not arrived ; the 27th who garrisoned here, and as far down as Lake George. Each regiment remains here about three Weeks or a month.

The 40th, 41st and 2d battalion of Royal Highlanders and 15th, have marched to New York, in the same order they came ; the rest expect to follow successively.

Provincial regiments here are 2 Connecticut compleate, two hundred New Hampshire, and but one hundred of the Massachusetts yet arrived. The plan of the fort is so large that it can scarcely be compleated this year.

We hear from New York, that five more Regiments arrived there the Week before last, and encamped on Staten-Island.

And, That the Transports there are ordered to take on board Six Months Provisions."
