CONSPIRED TO ROB SOUTH DAKOTA
Taylor and His Bondsmen Made a Disgraceful Compact.
Sioux City, March 9.—The Journal's Pierre, S. D., special says:
The legislative committee investigating the Taylor defalcation made its report just before adjournment. The proceedings were in secret, and the report is now made public for the first time. The committee declares that from the evidence it is shown that a conspiracy existed between certain sureties of Taylor and the defaulter to "hold up the state and compel a settlement."
