FCC Agent Will Inspect Planes At Airport Here

An inspector of the Federal Communications Commission from the engineering department of the Field Division at Norfolk is scheduled to visit the Henderson airport on Sunday, April 21, for the purpose of making inspection of radio-equipped planes, according to announcement today from the Norfolk office. The visit here will be one of a series of inspections to airports in this State. The statement said "it is the responsibility of the licensees or aircraft stations to submit their equipment for inspection to a representative of the Federal Communications Commission at least once during the license period (normally one year). It was recently stated that more privately-owned planes are stationed at the Henderson airport than at any other field in the State."
