Attorney James Bough, formerly with the United Nations, a native of St. Croix now residing in St. Thomas, has accepted the invitation of the Citizens Committee for Transfer Day to appear on the historic program planned for Saturday, March 31, three o'clock in the afternoon in Christiansted, St. Croix.
Attorney Bough, during the commemorative program will read President Wilson's Proclamation of 1917, issued at the time of the transfer of these islands from the Danish West Indies to the United States of America.
It was learned on Thursday that St. Croix's well known Big Band Circle will also be participating in the parade as will the Jaycees.
