Private Letters from Paris intimate, that the French Court has a new Article to settle with our Court, which may possibly prove as thorny, and take up as much Time to adjust, as that of the Neutral Islands, and the Regulation of Limits in North America; and this is a Claim of his Most Christian Majesty to the Sovereignty of Annamaboe on the Coast of Africa, commonly called the Gold Coast; about Which, they say, the Duke de Mirepoix will be ordered to present a Memorial to the British Court, if he has not already done it, as Orders to this Purpose were sent to his Excellency above a Fortnight ago.
