Private Letters from Paris intimate that the French Court has a new Article to settle with the British Court regarding a Claim of his Most Christian Majesty to the Sovereignty of Annamaboe on the Coast of Africa, commonly called the Gold Coast. The Duke de Mirepoix will be ordered to present a Memorial to the British Court, as Orders to this Purpose were sent to his Excellency above a Fortnight ago. This may prove as thorny and time-consuming as previous issues on the Neutral Islands and the Regulation of Limits in North America.
