CHARLESTON, JULY 2.

The Revenue Cutter in beating down our harbor discovered a sunken Boat which she took up and found had been scuttled—she is about 35 feet long, decked—her foremast had been cut away, and together with the mainmast, which was made to unship, and sails attached to them, were lashed along-side—Had on board a swivel, about 12 muskets and cutlasses, and a quantity of powder and shot, sweeps, &c.—Has on her stern "Jane of Wilmington." A French, Spanish and Chequered flag were also found on board. She is supposed to have been commanded by pirates, to have come into port night before last, and landed Specie, as 4 or 5 dollars were found on board. The boat has been recognised by the Capt. of the ship General Jackson of New-York who had her built during the war at N. York and sold her in Norfolk.
