Chicago, Ill.:

There's a primary election scheduled in Chicago tomorrow. The Politicians and Police, however, don't look for trouble as they used to. They're wondering how many voters will be interested enough to bother about going to the polls. Mayor Edward J. Kelly is the Democratic candidate to succeed himself, and his party leaders say he'll show a majority of 400,000 votes. The other Democratic hopefuls haven't even bothered to open up campaign headquarters. A woman has entered the Republican lists, Mrs. Grace Gray. But even such a novelty, the entry of a woman in the Mayoral race hasn't stirred up the excitement Chicago used to see regularly during the days of ex-Mayor Big Bill Thompson.
