WILL CO-OPERATE WITH
JOURNALISTIC SCHOOLS
The Wisconsin Editors' association decided to co-operate with all Wisconsin schools teaching journalism, at the closing session of its semi-annual convention in the Milwaukee Press club, Sunday.
Paul F. Hunter, Sheboygan Press, was elected president; Walter T. Marlatt, Kenosha News, vice-president; Louis P. Torreyson, Oshkosh Northwestern, secretary, and John R. Wolf, Evening Wisconsin, Milwaukee, treasurer.
P. F. Hunter, George F. Kull, Appleton Post; David Atwood, Janesville Gazette; A. W. Mackey, Manitowoc Herald, and Lyle G. Phillip, Fond du Lac Reporter, were elected to the executive board.
Charles Dean and H. M. Clark, Associated Press, and J. L. Sullivan, United Press, and heads of all the journalistic schools in the state, were voted honorary members. The next meeting will be held in Madison, Wis., in July.
