News from the Governor.

Governor Kinkead went East about the time of the meeting of the Chicago Convention. A private letter, says the Carson Times, was received from him on the 7th. It was from New York, in which place the Governor had been ill from the effects of the exceeding hot weather, but had recovered. It is the intention of the Governor to leave New York about the 13th instant, and start on his way home, stopping at various places and reaching Carson about the 1st of August. The letter says that New York is almost like home, from the fact that so many Comstockers, Carsonites and San Franciscans are to be met there.
