On Sunday Night
Ebenezer A. M. E. Church rounds out its Series of Spiritual Emphasis Services with a full days service this Sunday, August 30th. At a special young peoples service at 3:00 p. m., the Rev. H. A. Waid, minister of the Central Baptist Church, will preach. He will be assisted by his Junior Choir. Various representatives from Sunday Schools will participate during this Service. The officers to be installed are: James R. St. Clair, Sr., Superintendent, C. W. Tyree, assistant superintendent, treasurer, and chairman for the Service, Ann Prunty, secretary, Wilfred Holland, librarian, Jimmy St. Clair, Jr., assistant secretary and pianist.
The 7:00 o'clock evening service concludes the successful two week Revival. The Rev. Dr. M. C. Swann, minister. Bethel A. M. E. Church, Greensboro, N. C., whose enlightening and enlivening sermons and broad experiences as Chaplain in the U. S. Army. will preach his final sermon for this revival. Bro. Lonnie Barnes, singer, will be accompanied by Mrs. M. G. Robinson. A bus will bring the Bethel Gospel Choir to furnish the music for this service. This is the friendly church where all are welcome at all times. Rev. M. Arthur Camper is the pastor.
