HOT DOG MERCHANT

COPIED IN JUNGLES

Not even in the wilds of distant countries can the hot dog stand or its equivalent be escaped, it has been learned by Claudette Colbert, Herbert Marshall, Mary Boland and William Gargan. When Cecil B. DeMille put his troupe to work filming Paramount's "Four Frightened People" along the coast of Kona, Hawaii, a native did a thriving business by erecting a pandanus-thatched stand in the center of a cocoanut grove. However, his wares comprised cookies made by his wife and native fruit.
