English Armor Ships.

The English have four armor frigates afloat-the Warrior, Black Prince, Defence and Resistance. These are of the largest class. They are coated with four and a half inch iron plates, with two layers of ten inch teak beams placed transversely, and with an inner sheathing of wrought iron nearly an inch thick.

They have six armor frigates building-the Achilles, Hector, Valiant, Agincourt, Northumberland and Minotaur. The armor of these is to be five and a half inch iron plates, ten inches of teak and the same inner sheathing of wrought iron.
