The Okanogan Outlook.

It is understood on first-class authority that the pay-rolls of the camps of the Okanogan mineral belt, comprising principal mines of the district, will run into the thousands in the early spring, and there is throughout the country a revival of the confident feeling that has characterized the discoveries and development work on promising properties. No large amount of capital has been enlisted so far for the opening up of paying prospects, but the attention of good men has been attracted to this wealthy region, and the efforts of our promoters will not prove fruitless. There is something tangible and practical in the new propositions announced by representatives of men of means and liberal financial measure, and it is beyond the power of any man to hold this prolific province back, considering the circumstances of certain controlling surroundings. Mines of wealth, fertile valleys, vast timber areas, incomparable water courses, stock ranges that defy the continent by comparison, and a climate that beats the world the year round. Ten months of temperate weather and the other two broken winter, is the verdict of old-timers.
