Movement to Abolish the Death Penalty in England.

DUNLAP CABLE NEWS FROM LONDON. April 14.-In consequence of the execution of Richard Davies for the murder of his stepfather at Crewe, a violent popular agitation has arisen in favor of the complete abolition of the death penalty.

The press teems with articles condemning the conduct of Home Secretary Matthews in permitting the execution of Davies, and the loss of Carnarvonshire to the Conservative party at the election on Friday is charged by both Liberal and Government organs to the blunder of the Home Secretary in this case.
