Sudeten Victory Celebration Advertised for Bund in U. S., October 2
WASHINGTON, Sept. 28.—(UP)—John C. Metcalfe, agent for the house committee investigating un-American activities, today charged that Nazi adherents had obtained possession of secret construction plans for United States battleships.
Metcalfe also claimed that the Nazi German-American Bund is advertising an October 2 celebration of Hitler's acquisition of the Sudetenlands, although the Sudeten area is yet unacquired.
