"JUST AROUND THE CORNER."
PINE SPRINGS

The eyes of the Lord are in every place beholding the evil and the good. Judgment shall begin at the House of God; and if the righteous scarcely be saved, where will the ungodly and sinners appear? O, God! take care of the sleeping ministers and this nation. We are taught to repent, pay and strive to enter in—and every soul that fails to overcome evil will face fear, doubt and despair. We must accept the Bible at its face value, follow Christ and be Justified and ready for His coming. Man must have a Godly sorrow for his sins; pray till God hears him, and stay on his knees until God answers him. This makes man a convert and not a pervert. I tell you the spiritual joy has departed from the souls of men. This is the condition in all the churches. O, God, what has become of the old power that makes us love everybody; the power that touches the quick in the souls of the rich and poor alike? O, where is the tender love and convincing voice of the lowly Nazarene? I fear His life, His last Will and Testament has fell among thieves. We find but few at prayer meeting, and but very few that tarry at the altar. But some say we must not judge. "Open thy mouth, judge righteously and plead the cause of the poor and needy." Prov. 30:9.

The poor and needy are the people who have fine churches, plenty of money, a salaried preacher, and not enough grace to get a message through to God. The Shepherd is fat but the flock is starved and scattered. "This is my commandment that I give unto you: love one another as I have loved you."

Christ's love was a pure love, out of a pure heart, out of a pure conscience. His love never practiced a fraud on the Father, Himself, or man's soul. His love was unfeigned and his meat was to do His Father's will. I tell you there is a Retribution "Just Around the Corner."

We sing and pray, but we are not in the narrow way;
We argue and fret, but we don't regret;
We frown and grin, but we don't make amends;
We live and see, but we can't agree—
Jesus is coming, then how will it be?

Main Argument

churches and ministers have lost true spiritual power and joy, failing to repent and follow christ genuinely; believers must seek godly sorrow, prayer, and pure love to be ready for judgment, as retribution is imminent.
