Full Text

One of our particular friends, who subscribed to nearly all the papers in this city, has lately requested all the editors whom he patronized, to discontinue sending him their papers. The reason he assigns for his determination, is this : --that his counting room is constantly filled with loungers, and appears more like a coffee-room than a place of business. He says that the frequent interruptions he labours under are very annoying, and he hopes he will be relieved from loungers, by depriving himself of the pleasure of receiving the papers for some time.

Ball. Fed. Rep..

But reader! do not put the cap on unless it fits: and if your neighbor is an annoyance to you in this way, we recommend to you, as well for our sake as your own convenience, to lend him the paper which contains the foregoing fact (a polite method too of telling him of his intrusion,) that he may see the ill effects of his troublesomeness--and he will surely, take the hint, if not entirely void of feeling ]
