Men Hold Convention
Jamestown, N. D., Dec. 20.—(P)—Meeting to form a state organization, state highway maintenance men from seven division groups representing every county in the state, named members of two committees at the first session of the convention here Wednesday. About 300 of the patrolmen were expected to attend the afternoon meeting.
Officials of the state highway department here for the meeting are W. J. Mannigan, maintenance engineer, and Frank Vogel, state highway commissioner.
Committees named are:
Resolutions—C. O. Carlson, Minot chairman; H. A. Ekholm, Dickinson secretary; Ed Peterson, Devils Lake; E. H. Boelke, Binford; John McPherson, Crosby; H. E. Solvik, Finley; H. C. Hanson, Buffalo; H. E. Paul Bismarck.
By-laws: R. W. Frazier, Crosby, chairman; R. B. Laird, Minot, secretary; G. W. McCutcheon, Dickinson; M. Wahlwend, Fargo; E. G. Homuth, Valley City; Gilbert Vigger, Devils Lake.
The committees went into session while other highway men were taken on a tour through the city and the state hospital.
