Knights Templar In Training Session On Campus

The 12th annual session of the Shenandoah Knights Templar School of Instruction began Sunday at Longwood College.

Approximately 80 Knights Templar, their wives and children, from throughout Virginia, were welcomed to the session by Walter H. Stanford, President from Falls Church.

Classes will be held throughout the week in Manual of Sword drill movements, conferring of orders, Prelate's work, etc. The final session will be Thursday morning, with a business meeting and election of officers concluding the program. The Grand Commander of the Virginia Knights Templar, Sir Knight G. J. Butcher, of Norfolk, is visiting the instruction school.

The School of Instruction has met at Longwood College for the past three years. In addition to the class schedule, a program of entertainment will include a watermelon feast, sight-seeing trips and a picnic dinner at Longwood Estate.
