A NOTE FROM MISS DOROTHY WHITNEY
In a letter received from Miss Dorothy Whitney, who worked so pleasantly and efficiently among the residents of the Valley as Public health nurse and who was lately transferred to Anchorage, Miss Whitney expresses her sincere thanks and deep appreciation to those who participated in presenting her with a gift, "The ivory is an unusually pretty piece, and this as well as several pictures of the Matanuska Valley which I purchased with the remainder of the gift, will always be among my most treasured possessions."
