There is at this time in London, a celebrated Chinese philosopher, who has attained the wonderful art of preparing looking-glass, so as to receive a lasting impression of any person standing before it. The exact likeness, dress, and every the most minute attitude of the object male or female, will be forever preserved as at the moment of appearance, nor can it be effaced but by the breaking of the glass; a single minute will perfect the operation.--His price is 50 guineas for a whole length.
