The brig Eliza, Taylor, of this port, was boarded by them on the 24th ult. and treated politely. The captain of the privateer informed captain Taylor that he had cash enough on board the Superior to ballast her, that he defied all the cruisers on the West India station, and that it was his intention to come shortly to Charleston.
