Paper Says Nazis 'Gloat Over Guilt' In Bolivar Case

LONDON, Nov. 21. (UP)-Basing the allegation on a purported German broadcast, the Daily Mail said today that the "Nazis freely admitted their guilt and even gloated over the sinking' of the Dutch liner Bolivar with a loss of some 80 lives after striking a mine.

The Mail said a broadcast in English from Hamburg, Cologne and Zeesen stations early today said: "Germany's aim is to strike her foes at sea. Britain is in no position to make Britain safe for her ships or for neutrals in the waters surrounding the British Isles. The results are rather sad for neutral ships.

"Germany regrets this development as far as neutral ships are affected, but she is unable to do anything about it. The harvest must be reaped. Great Britain started the war--a war which she is not able to run in the way anticipated by London."
