William B. Bradley was installed as the president of Marathon Board of Realtors at a large installation banquet held Friday evening at Buccaneer Lodge.

Other new officers are Russell D. Zetterower, vice president; Philip Spiegel, secretary and treasurer; and Bill Ackerman and Charles L. Cray, directors.

Marathon Board of Realtors was chartered in April of this year, and had as its first president Charles L. Cray, who was presented with a plaque by new president Bradley as a token of esteem for his services in that office. Other outgoing officers were Bradley as vice president; Mrs. Tommie Sigler Ogden as secretary treasurer and Joe Welling and Mrs. Naomi Crandell as directors.

Guest speaker at the event was Sylvan Maxwell, of Miami, president of the Florida Association of Realtors, whose address dealt with the phenomenal growth of population in the State of Florida. The present four and one-half million is expected to almost double by 1970, Maxwell said, and went on to speak of the plans that are in progress for meeting this increase, and the large amounts of money that will be spent throughout Florida for new roads, buildings and other improvements. Acting as installing officer for the occasion was Harry Vordermeier, of Ft. Lauderdale, vice president of District 4 of the Florida Association of Realtors.

More than 50 persons attended the banquet, including guests from Key West. Among those present were Judge Aquilino Lopez Jr., Judge and Mrs. Raymond Lord, Sheriff and Mrs. John Spottswood, Mr. and Mrs. Allan B. Cleare, Earl R. Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Wilson. Local guests included State Representative and Mrs. Ralph E. Cunningham, Jr.
