Two of the Clay ticket in Frederick are certainly elected. One district (Hauver's) to be heard from, in which the Jackson majority must reach 115, or the whole Clay candidates succeed. This district usually gives about 120 majority for Jackson. The Jackson party cannot have more than 2. members out of 80 in the house of delegates; the 15 senators are for Clay; so that, on joint ballot the Clay majority will not be less than 41.
