Full Text
A popular forum for the discussion of vital campus questions has been established at the university of Wisconsin by the adoption of a new system of morning convocations for faculty and students. The plan is to have these convocations called whenever a committee, composed of men and women of the faculty and student body who are in close touch with university affairs, think it advisable to discuss some question which is being argued on the campus. The meetings will be held from 11.50 a. m. to 12.30 p. m. The idea is not a new one, but is simply a revival of an old custom which was in vogue for years and was abandoned in 1901. According to faculty members who were in the university at that time, the convocations were very successful.
