a complete refutation of all charges. Still the G.-D. continues the warfare, and the following are specimen bricks from its reserve pile: St. John is advised by friends and enemies to sue the Globe-Democrat. We second the motion. The case will be heard before a Democratic Judge. He shall have a Democratic jury, or a Prohibition jury if he wants it. Indeed, we will consent that he shall himself be foreman of the jury, and before the close of the case he will be compelled to acknowledge, with tears in his eyes, that he is the worst political dead-beat ever known to American politics. He will publicly thank us, in the name of the Prohibition party, for exposing him.
