FAIRFAX COUNTY
Mason (Rep.) 222 Lewis (Fed.) 149
Majority for Mr. Lewis in the district, 59. Mr. Lewis's majority over Mr. Love at the last election, 177. It is probable, from what we hear, that this election will be contested, on account of the illegality of many of the votes.
CAROLINE COUNTY.
Wm. H. Roane (Rep.) 252 Jas. M. Garnett 131
KING AND QUEEN.
Roane, 251 Garnett. 41
Essex and King William are the remaining counties in this district. There is no doubt of Mr. Roane's election.
THE WILLIAMSBURG DISTRICT.
The following other counties in this district have been heard from:
Northampton Bassett. 14 Eyre. 100
Warwick 70 6
York 77 54
It is sanguinely expected Mr. B. will be elected,
BOTETOURT COUNTY
Has given a majority of 233 votes for Gen. Breckenridge over Mr.Floyd, who had obtained a majority in Rockbridge and Montgomery. It is feared the remaining county, Giles, will not give a sufficient majority to Mr. Floyd to defeat the re-election of Gen. Breckenridge.
